Our Design Process

Whether you need a site designed from scratch, a complete make-over to an existing site or simply an addition of a few pages or some animation to your website, we design and develop quickly, economically and professionally.

We design websites in whatever format best suits your needs, from standard html, CMS Web Development, flash, database enabled or a combination of the three.

Initial Website Design

Once you’ve supplied us with the text and photos you want to use and possibly a rough idea of how the site should look, we’ll get to work on the basic look of the site

This is obviously the most important part of the web site design, so we will take several days to perfect.

Once we feel we’re getting close to a look which will reflect your business image, we’ll get in touch with you to invite your opinion. Please note that your site will be loaded onto one of our dummy domains, so you will be able to view it exactly as it would appear on your visitor’s internet browers.

Don’t worry if you’re not happy with it at this stage – just be completely honest with us and we’ll either make the necessary changes or if need be start from scratch.

If you don’t already have a logo, then just leave it to us. We will create a logo for you.

Ongoing Development

Once both of us are happy with the overall look, we can then go on to add in the individual pages as well as develop any software necessary for the site to function correctly. Images you’ve provided will then be adjusted and improved as required and added in suitable places.

After a while we’ll again ask you to take a look and air your views. Please note that it is vital that you are completely honest with us, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your website.

Once we’ve arrived at the finished product, the final thing to do is decide on what keyword phrases to use (something that we will have kept in mind throughout the design), but don’t worry we will not leave you in the lurch here, and this is the most critical part of your website success. You will receive a report from us giving the keyword phrases that are used worldwide on your product, as well as an estimate of the searches done on that keyword phrase through the major search engines.

Search Engine Optimisation

Our sites are designed to be as search engine friendly as possible – sometimes we may try to dissuade you on some of the ideas you have for the site simply for this reason.

Whilst we would never guarantee success on the search engines, we do enjoy considerable success with the vast majority of our sites. This is achieved by very careful optimisation of your site for just a few important keywords which potential customers are likely to type into search engines.

We may therefore need to make some final small adjustments to the text etc. before the site is ready to be presented to the world.

Web Site Completion

Your site is now ready to be launched. At this point we will ask if there’s any last thing you want to add (although we’re happy to make any small changes up to several weeks later if required) before asking you to pay the remaining balance. Your site will then be submitted to the search engines and, provided this is the first time it’s been submitted, we should start to see it appear in search results within 2-3 weeks**.

**If you’ve already previously submitted it, then it can take up to 8 weeks for the changes to register.
